HSK exams
- The Chinese Fluency Test, also known as the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi – 汉语水平考试), is a standardised exam used to evaluate non-native speakers’ fluency in Mandarin Chinese. It is administered globally through several testing facilities, including Confucius Institutes, and is coordinated by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Chinese institutions and businesses utilise the HSK, which has six levels ranging from 1 (beginning) to 6 (advanced), to assess candidates’ Chinese proficiency.
- The HSK evaluates practical Chinese language skills for daily life, academic studies, and professional settings.
- The test has six levels, with each level corresponding to a certain degree of Chinese proficiency.
- The test is administered by testing centres worldwide, which may include private language schools, universities, and Confucius Institutes.
- While the original HSK had six levels, there is a newer version with nine levels.
- We help students who wish to participate in HSK exams. We offer training courses and provide free assistance to students with registration, eliminating the need to visit the registration centres. Contact us to find out the examination registration and test dates.
