Founded in 2022, Laoshi Institute of Languages is a language school on Lumumba Road in the Kariakoo area of Dar es Salaam City in Tanzania. Recognized nationally and by the National Swahili Council (BAKITA), we offer different language courses, including Chinese, English, French, Arabic, Turkish, and Swahili. We provide flexible learning options, including on-site (group) classes, private sessions at our school or online, and dedicated online courses. Beyond language instruction, we also offer professional translation and interpretation in these languages.

The school offers morning, afternoon, evening, and dusk slots. In a group class, a learner will have to attend four-hour sessions weekly (Monday-Thursday classes). In a private class, a learner will have the option to attend online or on-site or combine the two options, with selection of slot days and hours, with a maximum of six hours weekly (seven days). Lastly, in an online option, a learner can register for either a Monday to Thursday class (one-hour class daily), a Friday to Saturday class (two-hour class daily) or a Friday to Sunday class (one and a half hours for the first two days and a one-hour session on the last day).

We, as the Laoshi Office, have one focus, which is to serve the community honestly by offering quality, affordable, and adaptable services to the community near and far.
